Terms of service.

You, and PVD — 5639 SW Arctic Dr, Beaverton, Oregon. Using this site, placing an order or submitting a trade-in means these terms apply to that transaction. If you do not agree with them, do not order; that is the only remedy either of us needs.

You need to be at least 13 to hold an account, and at least 18 to submit a trade-in or receive a payout. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it — changing your password signs every other session out immediately.

Placing an order creates a customer record even if you never chose to register, so that you can look the order up afterwards. Our privacy page covers what that record contains.

An order is an offer to buy, and it becomes a contract when we accept it and ship. Until then we can decline it — if an item turns out not to be in stock, if a price was published wrongly, or if an order looks fraudulent. If we decline after taking payment, you get all of it back.

Prices are in US dollars and do not include shipping unless the order qualifies for free shipping, which is shown in your cart before you pay. We can change prices, but never after you have placed an order.

We ship from Beaverton, Oregon. The delivery estimate shown at checkout is an estimate, not a guarantee — what we control is how quickly it leaves us, not what happens to it afterwards. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery, not on dispatch, which is the practical way of saying that if it arrives broken that is our problem and not yours.

Thirty days, free both ways, no restocking fee. If a case arrives damaged we replace it and you do not send the damaged one back. The full terms, including how refunds are issued and how long they take, are on the returns page, and those terms govern.

Store credit is tied to your account, is not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash unless we offer that explicitly. It expires 18 months after it is issued. Full terms on the store credit page. Credit earned at PVD is also redeemable at PTO Ski & Snowboard.

When you send us a set, you are telling us it is yours to sell and that you have described it accurately. The quote you see up front is an estimate based on what you told us; the final offer comes after we physically inspect what arrives. If the condition matches your description, we honour the original quote. The trade-in policy covers what we accept, what happens if we cannot agree, and how items come back to you.

Photos you upload stay yours. You are giving us permission to use them to value, track and inspect your trade-in — nothing else. We do not put them in advertising.

We make display cases. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse PVD, and our products are not LEGO products. Where a case is described as fitting a particular set, that is our own measurement of a set we bought like anyone else. LEGO models shown in product photography are for scale and are sold separately.

Do not attempt to break into it, scrape it wholesale, resell access to it, or submit trade-ins you have no intention of sending. We can close an account that does. Text, photography and design on this site are ours; the specifications, measurements and test results are facts and you are welcome to quote them.

If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility is to put that order right — replace it, or refund it, as set out on the returns page. What we are not responsible for is consequential loss: the value of what you chose to put inside a case, a delivery that missed a birthday, or anything else downstream of the case itself. Insure what is valuable to you.

Nothing here takes away rights that state or federal law gives you and does not let us sign away.
